Marching Rams

Welcome to the Marching Rams!

The Marching Rams is an extra-curricular activity that's open to all students attending Riverside High School.   Sections include:  Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, and Color Guard.   There is also a non-marching percussion section called "Pit,"  with members who play the marimbas, xylophones, guitars and other rhythm instruments.

Color Guard:  Students who are not in band class and/or who do not play an instrument may join the Color Guard, a visual ensemble that's an essential part of the Marching Rams.  Some experience in dance is helpful but not required, as students are able to learn dance elements and equipment skills.

Marching Rams members (both band and color guard) receive a varsity letter for their participation.

For more information about the Marching Rams program, please see the drop-down menu for Marching Rams at the top of the Web site.

During the fall season, the Marching Rams participates in competitions throughout the region, and performs their half-time show at home football games.

They also promote school spirit and goodwill by playing "pep-band" music during football games, pep rallies, Homecoming parade, first day of school, state championship celebrations, Leesburg Halloween parade, and other community events.
